Daisy and Button Stand Lamp

The matching blue glass Daisy and Button font and shade combine beautifully with the reverse painted stem and black base to create an outstanding antique kerosene lamp.

Reverse painted composite oil lamps were popular during the 1880s – 1900s.

The term “reverse painted” refers to the stem section which is clear glass with paint applied to the inner surface to create the desired finish. In this case it has been painted to simulate black marble with dark blue veins.
