Atterbury Prism and Loop Oil Lamp

This Early American Patterned Glass oil lamp was made by Atterbury and Co circa 1870.

It has a Prism and Loop font with an opaque white glass base. This font pattern is shown on page 143 fig.(g) of Catherine Thuro’s first book “Oil Lamps – The Kerosene Era in North America”.

The lamp is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or damage of any kind.

Height to the top of the burner – 29cm (11.5″)

Height to the top of the chimney – 46cm (18″)
