Blue Glass Oil Lamp circa 1890s
When looking at the vibrant colour of this blue glass oil lamp, it is hard to remember that it was made in the 1890s.
The pattern is called Basketweave and Medallions and an amber glass version is shown on page 109 fig. (h) of Catherine Thuro’s second book “Oil Lamps II – Glass Kerosene Lamps”.
The blue glass oil lamp is fitted with a vintage burner, wick and chimney.
This antique kerosene lamp is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or damage.
It would be at home in any decor from a Victorian home to a new construction.

Height to the top of the chimney – 45cm (7.75″)
Diameter of the font – 14cm (5.5″)
