Double Handle Oil Lamp

Product code - 0469D
Sold on 23rd January 2013

It is remarkable that this antique double handle oil lamp has survived for so long without any damage to the handles.

We believe it to be an early machine made kerosene lamp dating to the 1920s. There are a couple of small air bubbles within the glass and a small rough spot on the surface which is not uncommon for a lamp from this era.

The pattern on both sides of the body of the lamp depicts a spray of roses with a basket-weave background. The handles have a rope pattern.
