So far, we have been unable to identify the pattern of this EAPG (Early American Patterned Glass) oil lamp.

However it does show characteristics that are similar to the Erin Fan pattern. The style of the stands, shape of the fonts and the dimensions of the lamps are all similar but this one lacks the sharp detail of the Erin Fan.

That said, it is still a very attractive lamp with a soft yet elegant style.

It is hard to be sure of the age of this EAPG oil lamp but the presence of manufacturing straw marks in the glass and the wear on the under side of the base lead us to believe that it dates to around 1900.

The lamp is in excellent condition and is fitted with a vintage burner, a new wick and a vintage “Fire King” chimney.

This antique EAPG kerosene lamp will make a lovely addition to your home or your collection.

Height to the top of the burner – 29cm (11.5″)

Height to the top of the chimney – 47cm (18.5″)

Diameter of the font – 13cm (5″)

Diameter of the base – 15cm (6″)
