This is the smaller size of stand lamp in the antique emerald green glass lamp range known as Erin Fan. The sweeping lines of this oil lamp make it one of the most beautiful and elegant kerosene lamps produced.

The emerald green Erin Fan kerosene lamp was also produced in a slightly larger sized stand lamp and three styles of hand or finger lamps as well as clear and blue glass in various styles.

An Erin Fan flat finger lamp fig.(a) and a stand lamp fig.(c) are shown on page 274 of Catherine Thuro’s first book “Oil Lamps – The Kerosene Era in North America”.

This emerald green glass lamp dates to the 1890s and is in excellent condition without any chips, cracks or damage of any kind. There aren’t even many of the expected manufacturing air bubbles and straw marks present.

An additional feature with this antique kerosene lamp is the patterned brass collar.

This beautiful antique emerald green glass lamp is complete with a new wick, vintage burner and new beaded top chimney.
