Caramel Slag Glass Table Lamp

This antique electric slag glass table lamp features beautiful caramel coloured slag glass panels in an ornate filigree metalwork frame.

The really wonderful thing about slag glass table lamps like this one is that they look equally as attractive by day as they do at night.

There are eight flat, caramel slag glass panels mounted in a finely detailed metal frame. The delicate pattern of metal lacework is complimented by the detail in the stand. The frame and stand are painted with a burnished gold finish.

There are no makers marks on the lamp but everything about it is consistent with those made in the 1920s to 1930s.

This elegant table lamp has been rewired to comply with Australian Standards and has been tested and tagged accordingly. It takes two light bulbs and is fitted with an in line switch for ease of operation.

Overall, this antique slag glass table lamp is in very good to excellent condition and will make a lovely addition to your home.
