Original Dome Shade Lamp

This antique dome shade lamp is definitely one for the ladies and would look especially nice in her boudoir.

Both the vase and shade feature an embossed shell pattern and the pink background with pastel coloured bands enhance the feminine feel of the parlor oil lamp. There is certainly no doubt about the shade and vase being original to each other.

The removable nickel slip font has one of the earlier designs of wick raisers so we believe the lamp dates from the early to mid 1890s. The burner is complete and in good working order including the flame spreader, a wick and a new chimney.

This is a lovely, all original, matching dome shade lamp and it is in very good to excellent condition and will be a welcome addition to your home or to your collection.
