Aladdin Tall Lincoln Drape
Aladdin made Tall Lincoln Drape oil lamps in a range of colours between 1940 and 1949. This alacite model doesn’t glow under UV light so we know it was produced after 1942.
The alacite Tall Lincoln Drape kerosene lamps that Aladdin produced before World War II contained uranium and had a consistent ivory colour. This particular oil lamp has more of a peach tint to it and doesn’t glow under UV light.
The lamp is in very good to excellent condition. It is complete with a fully operational burner including a wick, flame spreader and chimney.
Please note: In order to burn properly, the lamp requires a mantle. The lamp is not currently fitted with a mantle due to their fragile nature. A new mantle will be supplied if required.
The hand painted shade may not be original to the lamp but looks to be of a similar age. It is also in very good to excellent condition.
This alacite Aladdin Tall Lincoln Drape lamp will be a stylish addition to your home.
